Our Journey Together
Little Qi was created by Dr. Kristina Elminoufi, L.Ac., MSOM — licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, mother, and pediatric wellness educator.
After years of supporting families in clinical practice, Kristina developed Little Qi to bring Chinese medicine’s core principles into the home through educational, non-medical tools that empower both child and caregiver.
Little Qi is a sub-brand of Way of the Tao Acupuncture & Wellness Inc.
It represents the seed of a future pediatric wellness center devoted to energy-based education and family balance.
While Little Qi does not offer acupuncture or medical services, its materials lay the foundation for a new generation of family-centered healing education.
All content is educational and not intended to diagnose or replace care from your health provider.

Mission
Little Qi was created to bring ancient healing wisdom into the everyday rhythm of modern family life.
We believe every child is born with a vital life force — Qi (æ°”) — that flourishes through mindful movement, creativity, and compassion.
Our mission is to help children learn to listen to their bodies, name their emotions, and find calm within themselves — guided by nature, story, and the Five Elements.

Values
1. Harmony with Nature
We honor the rhythms of the seasons, the cycles of growth and rest, and the flow of Qi in all living things.
Children learn that balance is not perfection—it’s listening, adapting, and moving in tune with life.

2. Kindness & Compassion
Every story, movement, and meditation teaches gentleness—toward ourselves, others, and the world around us.
We believe compassion is the foundation of true healing.

3. Playful Learning
Play is sacred work. Through imagination, storytelling, and movement, children discover emotional balance and body awareness in joyful, screen-free ways.
4. Ancient Wisdom for Modern Families
We preserve the integrity of Traditional Chinese Medicine while translating it into simple, meaningful practices that families can use every day.

5. Self-Care as Community Care
When children learn to care for their own energy, they bring calm and kindness into their families, classrooms, and communities.

6. Integrity & Authenticity
Rooted in clinical experience and cultural respect, Little Qi shares time-tested principles with transparency, humility, and love.

7. Curiosity & Wonder
We encourage every child to ask, “What does my Qi feel like today?”—turning self-awareness into an adventure of discovery.
